Flowers by Snellings is a LOCAL, BRICK AND MORTAR FLOWER SHOP.  We are located in the heart of downtown Winchester, Virginia on Braddock Street.  We are a family run business- and usually one if not the whole family is in the store.  If you don't see it on our website, JUST ASK -we can probably order it for you and have it within 48-72 hours.   If we don't carry something, we may know another business who does (i.e.local greenhouse and garden centers) 

Flowers by Snellings proudly serves and delivers to all of Winchester, Frederick County, and Clarke county. We are pleased to have a AIFD certified designer on staff as our manager. AIFD is an abbreviation for American Institute of Floral Designers. An elite organization, a member must pass a series of tests before membership is granted.

Flowers by Snellings was established in 1952 by the Snellings family. It still remains a family run business. The owners, Bob & Shirley Harrison, along with their daughter, Andrea Harrison-Rowley AIFD, are committed to making sure you are 100% satisfied with your order.

Our shop is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

We are closed on Sundays.

To help assure on-time delivery during the busy holiday season, place your order at least 1 day prior to the following major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter, Administrative Professionals Week, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.

Our shop will always be closed on the following holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, closed on Black Friday (day after Thanksgiving), Christmas eve, Boxing day, New Year's Eve, Saturdays of Labor Day Weekend and Memorial Day weekend. Also Closed Apple Blossom weekend starting noon Thursday of.

       

We deliver daily to Winchester, Berryville, Boyce, Clearbrook, Cross Junction, Gore, Middletown, Millwood, Star Tannery, Stephenson, Stephens City, and Whitehall, White Post.  Additional delivery charges will apply to all areas outside the 22601 zipcode. These may range from 6.99 - 24.99 depending on the location of the delivery.

We do deliver to Giffin Funeral Home in Capon Bridge, WV and Brown Funeral Home in Inwood, Wv once daily.  We deliver to all funeral homes in Frederick and Clarke counties.

We offer a variety of fresh flowers daily. If we don't have a particular flower in stock, we can order and have it within 24 hours in most cases.

We can design specialty sympathy tribute arrangements, or include personal items into a sympathy arrangement as a memorial to the deceased.  Just ask!

We do have a variety of dish gardens in wicker baskets available for delivery.

  We can also design custom made fruit, gourmet, junk, and gift baskets. 24 hours notice is needed for these items.

A local delivery fee of $5.99 will be added to each order, for each address. (For deliveries outside 22601 delivery area, this fee will vary.)

U.S. orders must be received before 12:00 noon in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.

We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.

Please include as much information as possible, the business name if delivering to a business, cell phone and landline for recipient and any other information would be greatly appreciated. 

We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.

We always call ahead to make sure that the recipient is home to receive the flowers.  If not home we will tag the door and leave a message.  If the weather permits and the door is in a secure location, we will leave the arrangement and leave a message for the recipient advising of the location the flowers were left. 

Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

We will be happy to accept your international orders if you call our shop directly. We are unable to accept international orders over the Internet.

Occasionally, substitutions may be necessary to create your bouquet due to the availability of certain flowers in various parts of the country. Care is taken to maintain the style, theme and color scheme of the arrangement, using flowers of equal value. Additionally, the substitution of certain keepsake items may be necessary due to increased demand, especially during major holidays. In single-flower arrangements, such as an all rose bouquet, or orchids, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color.

Information We Collect

If you open an account on our site or make a purchase, we need your contact information including your name, phone number, e-mail address and mailing address to complete your transaction.

When you visit our website, we also collect some basic information that does not identify individual users. We use this information to determine our users demographics and interests, so that we can better understand and serve our users.
